Output Profile
A profile is a collection of properties tailored to the type of content being encoded, and the audience. The properties stored in a profile include: the audio and video quality, connection speed for the intended audience, and available bandwidth.
You can create a custom profile with Profile Manager. Profile Manager is the tool for creating, editing, and deleting profiles. It is available from the Camera Properties dialog box in the Profiles tab by clicking the Manage button.
Custom profiles are saved as files with a .prx file name extension in the \Program Files\Windows media components\Encoder\Profiles folder. You can reuse custom profiles on multiple computers by copying the .prx files to them.

- On the Options menu, click Camera Settings.
- Click the Profile tab.
- In Profile, select a profile from the list.
- To edit the current profile, click Edit.
