The guide says to D/L the ISO image and gives a link. I find the link, see a mirror, and D/L, saving the image(?) to my hard drive. So far so good, or at least I thought so. Then the guide says I need an MD5 file (running BS Win 7, which is why I am here) since I probably don’t have md5sum installed.

More reading..find file, D/L and place in same path as what I thought was the linux.iso file (though I am not certain of that as I searched for that filename but could not find it.) This does not make sense as they wrote 3 lines of command, so when it did not work, I put the commands in 1 line but as you probably surmised it said no such path found.
