You must import the TRAKTOR mapping file using the CONTROLLER MANAGER Dialog box Import other and locate the file on your computer. Make sure the IN and OUT PORTS are assigned to the correct CDJ-700. In this example there is only one deck. Make sure your controller is fully unplugged from your computer and the power supply. Hold down the left FLX button (top left of the jog wheel) and plug the USB cable in to your Mac and the controller. The controller cue pads should blink green to show you are in user MIDI mode. Launch djay Pro AI for Mac and start mixing! Oct 09, 2012 My speakers are connected to my comp, not my controller, so for audio in traktor I have it set to ASIO. I can't connect my speakers to my controller as 1) i have no idea how 2) i've plugged my speaker cord into a phone jack and into the MASTER OUT socket L and tried R (on the back of my controller) but no sound comes out. The TRAKTOR KONTROL S3 is our essential four-deck DJ controller, with everything you need to layer beats, weave in acapellas, double-down on your back-to-bac.

If you’re using a controller that isn’t “TRAKTOR ready', you can often find pre-configured MIDI mappings (.tsi files) on the manufacturer's website, or by searching the web. If not, you can create your own MIDI map for any controller by using the controller manager in TRAKTOR’s preferences via the MIDI learn mode. MIDI maps can be saved.

  • I have traktor pro 2 installed and my hercules e2 controller works fine with it, all controls are fine but no sounds played through traktor play.
Under Audio setup i have the following settings:
    Audio device: ASIO4ALL v2
    Sample rate: 24000Hz
    Latency: 512

Then under the ‘Built in soundcard’ bit i have ASIO4ALL selected again. The only other choice being something called” Conexant 20561 smartaudio ( (Wassapi) (Shared mode))”

I have no idea what to do with input & output routing, but have had no luck with just guessing. could really use some help people. if you need any more info, let me know. thanks

On Audio Setup, select “ASIO4ALL” for audio device. Then, on Output Routing, select “Internal” for mixing mode, on Out Master select 1: Front Left, then 2: Front Right. Output Monitor should be 3: Back Left, then 4: Back Right.

So I’ve checked your controller the Hercules E2, and learned that it doesn’t have a built-in soundcard. And, the computer that you are connecting to is using a Digital-Out interface, which means your ordinary 3.5mm will not work with it. You will need a S/PDIF is a digital audio interconnect to RCA cable to be able to connect it to an external mixer or speakers.

Try using Conexant 20561 smartaudio ( (Wassapi) (Shared mode)) as your audio setup and use “internal” in your output routing select “anything” that is available on your drop down list and see if any sound is produced in your computer.

Servicemaxx pro download ever store clothing. If it still doesn’t work, then your computer’s soundcard doesn’t support external audio routing, you may need to buy a DJ soundcard like one of these: http://www.digitaldjtips.com/2010/11/6-budget-dj-sound-cards/

3D 5.1 soundcards will work as long as you have two separate outputs. But, if you want to connect it to high-powered mixers and speakers, then I recommend buying a DJ soundcard from numark or native instruments. That way there would be no distortion if you pump up the volume.
